Project Story: Dune Fan Art, Metal | Black Metal

I recently finished , well almost finished. reading Frank Herbert's Dune Epic saga. Discovered a few new exciting factions and bits I didn't know about. Made me want to go back to revisit some old work I had started on this.

This is something game-like, stylized, and based on a personal. I began on the sketches about 10 years ago but never really had time to bring it to life.

As much a fun of Dune I was and also was a metal head and still am ! So I am hoping for black metal music plays a big role in this project too , the music is intense, emotional, raw, almost alien. It has the same kind of feeling as Dune to me: lonely, huge, brutal, spiritual, and epic. Here is a band I was blown away by and thought it could work really well with a Carryall landing -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8VBPMKLxSg . I wanted the machines to feel like they came from that same place — heavy, mysterious, and almost sacred in a strange way.

I'll be looking at the work of one of my Idol Dan Seagrave album covers like Suffocation and Malevolent creation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Albums_with_cover_art_by_Dan_Seagrave

This project is really just a mix of things I love Dune, and black metal. It’s a tribute, a remix, and honestly just something I had a lot of fun building.
from Dune Wiki->
The Fish Speakers were an army created during the rule of God Emperor Leto Atreides II. The Fish Speaker army was entirely composed of women, with men having no roles in the Fish Speakers' lives other than that of husband.

he Honored Matres were a powerful and militant faction of women who emerged from uncharted space as formidable rivals and sinister reflections of the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood some fifteen centuries after the death of God Emperor Leto Atreides II.

Hoping for a blend of dark, almost black-metal-inspired
